American Geriatrics Society	The American Geriatrics Society (AGS) is the premier professional organization of health care providers dedicated to improving the health and well-being of all older adults.

The National Council on Aging (NCOA)	The National Council on the Aging is a national network of organizations and individuals dedicated to improving the health and independence of older persons and increasing their continuing contributions to communities, society and future generations.
Nursing Home & Elder Abuse Law Center	This great organization has a passion for protecting the elderly, representing victims and family members of elder abuse and neglect.

Local Resources:
Hospice By the Bay (formerly Hospice of Marin)	Hospice By the Bay provides compassionate care for patients with terminal illness and support for their families and loved ones.
Library Beyond Walls	Provides free in-home delivery of library materials to homebound patrons of the Marin County Free Library.
Margaret Todd Senior Center	The Margaret Todd Senior Center provides recreational and educational activities for adults age 50 years and older. The center is operated by the City of Novato as a program of the Parks, Recreation and Community Services department, and is a wonderful organization.
Marin.org	The mission of this site is to showcase the resources and events of Marin. Excellent site for local resources!

Marin Co. YMCA – Programs for Seniors	The Marin YMCA Older Adults Program has been bringing older adults together for fun, healthy and educational activities since 1989.
Marin JCC Aquatic Therapy programs	Swimming is a wonderful exercise option!
